Join us for an unforgettable summer of learning, growth, and adventure! This is a Summer School with a difference.

Whatever your starting point, our dynamic and unique ‘Active English’ program helps students build essential language skills while developing confidence, creativity, and teamwork — all skills that last a lifetime. Alongside interactive English lessons, we offer exciting cultural experiences, from exploring historic landmarks to participating in fun, outdoor activities.

At a glance

  • 13 day residential programme
  • Running from early July until Mid-August
  • 16 hours of practical, Active English learning sessions for Beginner, Developing and Expert English speakers
  • 16 hours of creative English project work developing a story, writing a script and shooting a film
  • 12-hour carousel of multi-sports, outdoor learning and music activities
  • Specialist sessions from a range of activities including: martial arts, street dance, fencing, pottery, Rookie Lifeguard qualification
  • Full day trips: London (including boat trip and London Eye), Canterbury (including Cathedral), Bodiam Castle (including Swimming) and Thorpe Park (theme park)
  • Three half-day trips: Hastings Smugglers Adventure and Aquarium, Beach Afternoon, Battle Abbey and historic 1066 battleground
  • All meals provided, seven days a week
  • Suitable for children aged 11-17
  • Maximum class sizes 1:15
  • Keep in touch meetings: Pre-course online meetings with Director of Summer School
