The Claremont Sixth Form Programme is designed to equip our students with the skills they need to succeed in the rapidly changing, and increasingly competitive, environment which Sixth Formers face when they leave school. We offer a wide-ranging academic programme, complemented by bespoke activities to enrich and enhance leadership and communication skills of our students, providing the arena for them to develop into socially responsible, organised and committed young adults.

A wide-ranging and ambitious curriculum
Our curriculum is wide-ranging, ambitious and forward thinking. The study of A levels is the central pillar of Claremont’s academic life in the Sixth Form. Whilst the majority of students pursue three A levels, we tailor our provision to ensure all are able to access the greatest number of possible alternative future opportunities when they leave school.
As well as A levels, we offer students the opportunity to study Level 3 BTEC qualifications in some subjects, as well as Sports Leaders’ Award, Arts Awards, Duke of Edinburgh and LAMDA qualifications. Many of our students take an Extended Project Qualification, which gives useful additional UCAS points.

Our portfolio of Sixth Form subjects seeks to cater to all of the traditional subject areas, whilst also opening up new avenues for sixth form study: Creative and Digital Media Production, Music Technology, Psychology, Government & Politics, Economics, Sociology and Sports & Exercise Science. Our Performing Arts Practice Diploma in Dance continues to attract growing student numbers.
The academic programme is delivered with energy and dedication by a teaching team of experts in their fields.
