Enriching After-School Activities for Students

At Claremont we understand that, for busy parents, a 3.30pm finish to the school day can be a little too early. We support parents by offering a variety of clubs until 4.30pm and Late Stay until 5.50pm.

Children from Reception upwards can take part in after school activities every day and we offer a wide selection; widely based on the interests of the children in Pre-Prep. All of our internal clubs and Late Stay are included within the school fees and Late Stay includes a sandwich supper.

Day trip adventures

Regular school trips to nearby attractions offer plenty of entertainment outside the classroom. We take every opportunity to make the most of local places of interest such as the local beach, just five miles away.

Visits to historical sites such as castles, houses and gardens, or to science centres, farms and vineyards encourage adventure and unusual learning experiences.

Every year, at the end of term, pupils take part in Activities Week, where they have a packed calendar of exciting activities to choose from.

The curriculum beyond the academic gives superb opportunities well outside the norm.
