At Claremont Nursery, we make learning fun! We help the children develop essential skills through play-based activities while developing their individual sense of curiosity.

All learning follows the latest Early Years framework. Structured lessons establish the children’s academic foundations, with additional time for music, yoga and physical education, led by specialists.

We believe in nurturing each child’s creativity, empathy, and independence – that’s why our indoor and outdoor spaces are designed to inspire their imagination. From art and music to role-play and more, we offer a wide range of activities that will support their growth in lots of different ways.

Our modern facilities and beautiful location provide the perfect environment to inspire imagination. The children explore, work together in teams and develop their social skills while taking part in fun art, music and role play projects. Forest School sessions help the children to discover and become passionate about nature from a young age.

At Claremont, nature teaches lessons for life. Children develop their powers of observation, whether it is a spur-of-the-moment discovery of animal tracks, spotting fresh blooms, or quiet personal reflections on how the seasons affect the woodland surroundings.

Absorbing outdoor discovery

Our thoughtfully designed gardens and play areas let children learn through active play and hands-on discovery. The ‘mud kitchen’ has hosted many imaginary meals with natural ingredients sourced from the bushes and ground.

Building confidence through Forest School

When they join our acclaimed Forest School programme, children at Claremont have already sharpened their willingness to explore. Our children thrive on woodland adventures, developing their confidence and environmental awareness. Whatever each child dreams of doing – from plumbing to space travel to environmentalism – our enriched outdoor spaces will launch their love of learning.
