Weekly boarders are students who attend boarding school during the week and return home on weekends to spend time with their families. They usually leave school or their boarding house on Friday evenings, with some returning Monday mornings, while others prefer to come back on Sunday in time for dinner. For students in Years 7 to 10, a responsible adult must pick them up and return them.
These students are fully integrated into boarding life, effectively having two homes. While they are away on weekends, the boarding house remains active with a variety of exciting trips, visits, and activities for those who stay, allowing for different degrees of independence based on age. Additionally, weekly boarders have the option to stay over occasionally during the weekends.
