Learning Support

At Claremont we recognise that every child has potential barriers to learning. These might be diagnosed learning difficulties or environmental factors that impact learning. Claremont’s philosophy is that every student needs support in their learning to some extent.

We believe in nurturing every child’s individual potential to help them thrive. Our dedicated team provides personalised support and high-quality teaching to ensure each student can excel and become independent learners.

It is our belief that the best place for any child to learn is in the classroom, under the guidance of a trained teacher. At Claremont, students are taken out of class for remedial help only in very rare circumstances and only for very good reason. In class support is provided in many classes, and a culture of inclusion is a defining feature of the school.
