Bursaries

At the heart of our educational philosophy lies a commitment to inclusivity and accessibility. It is in this spirit that we provide bursaries, designed to unlock opportunities and nurture potential.

Claremont provides support to a wide range of families in order that they can access a high quality education. We understand that an independent education represents a significant investment and there may be times when families may need support in order to continue their relationship with the school.

Bursaries are awarded up to 30% of tuition fees. On occasion a bigger award is made available. All bursary applications are means tested and handled by an external agency prior to a recommendation being made.

Means Tested Bursaries (MTB)

Means tested bursaries are purely financial awards designed to help families who might struggle with the school’s fees. Scholarships and Discretionary Bursaries can both be ‘topped up’ by a means tested bursary. Parents applying for a means tested bursary will be required to complete financial disclosure forms at the same time as any Scholarship application. A decision will be made by the Headmaster in consultation with the Principal.
