Community

The Claremont community is warm, friendly and inclusive. Throughout the year there are several formal and informal events where parents have the opportunity to chat with staff and share in the achievements of their children and the school as a whole.

Claremont Day is an event at the end of the year when the whole Prep school community comes together to reflect on another busy year and reward great learning in all its forms. It’s a relaxed, happy and much-anticipated highlight of the school calendar that’s particularly cherished by our school leavers as it gives them a chance to say goodbye and let their hair down one last time before they go.

Speech Day at the Senior School is an equally joyous event where family and friends are able to take time to reflect on their Claremont journey, and do so with enormous pride. Performances from LAMDA students and our talented musicians set the scene for an uplifting day of celebration and fond farewells to our leavers.

Claremont inspires students to connect with each other, with the local community and with the broader global village. Our students understand the unique opportunities they enjoy and are given the chance to form bonds with others who are less fortunate, sharing their experiences and all the social benefits that come from this. Strong links allow for regular collaboration with primary schools, many charities across our community and local businesses.

Closer to home, our vibrant international boarding community brings further cultural richness to the student experience. International students are fully integrated into all areas of school life, making Claremont a local school with a truly global outlook.
