From our Principal, Ed Dickie

A very warm welcome to Claremont, a co-educational day and boarding school whose community is both local and global. I hope you find the school as inspirational and exciting as I do.

Claremont’s story began in 1925, set against the backdrop of East Sussex’s serene landscapes at our St Leonards estate. With our 100-year anniversary approaching, we celebrate not just our history but the daily stories of over 400 enthusiastic learners enriching their lives in these halls.

The expansion to Bodiam in 2011 marked the birth of Claremont Senior School—a rising institution that now boasts a community of over 310 pupils, a flourishing Sixth Form, and two revitalised boarding houses. Our association with the International Schools Partnership since 2018 underscores our commitment to developing world-class citizens, bolstered by unparalleled opportunities for growth and learning.
