Claremont School’s boarding house, Clyde House, is currently undergoing a significant transformation that is set to enhance the overall experience for its boarders. The latest development includes a large extension of the dining facilities, eliminating the need for a rota system and allowing all boarders to enjoy their meals together. This change is expected to foster a more sociable and homely atmosphere within Clyde House, making it a true home away from home for the students.

The renovation is scheduled to be completed before the new term commences in September, just in time to welcome both current and new boarders from Year 9 to Year 13. Alongside the improved dining facilities, Clyde House boasts spacious private rooms, en-suite facilities, and ample outdoor space, providing a comfortable and inviting living environment for the students.

Excitingly, this development is just the beginning, as plans are already in motion for a new gym space to be constructed in an external building within the garden. This addition will offer students more opportunities to relax and unwind, further enriching their boarding experience at Claremont School.

Located just three miles from the seaside and within walking distance to shops, Clyde House offers convenient access to various amenities. Additionally, its proximity to major transport hubs and iconic destinations like London, Brighton, and Ashford International makes it an ideal choice for students seeking a well-connected and enriching boarding school experience.

Limited boarding spaces are still available at Claremont School, including accommodation at Clyde House. For more information on boarding options and admissions, interested parties are encouraged to reach out to the school’s Admissions team – admissions@claremontschool.co.uk | +44 01580 830396
