I just wanted to take this opportunity to tell you how pleased I am with William’s performances over the past two weeks matches with Wadhurst (his first for our team since December), which I believe is in no small measure down to the work he is doing with you at the academy. His heels have been better lately which helps immensely ( although at the end of Saturday’s games his left heel was hurting- hopefully not like before). But His game seems to have noticeably risen to another level since the end of last year. He has always had the ability to control the matches, but everything he does seems to be elevated, his passing, tackling, ball skills, positional awareness, confidence and even his goal scoring. He is always highly competitive, and he scored 5 goals on Saturday, a hat trick in the 1st game and 2 in the 2nd. He saved the best til last and he left me speechless -Which is quite a feat – with a real messi-like run and chip over the keeper, which after 55mins of non-stop running was stunning…. Quick feet, close control, skills and poise. I just wanted to make you aware how appreciative we are of all the good work you are doing with William.
