Boarding House Matron

We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic MATRON to join one of our two boarding houses with view to start in September 2020. 

Matrons play a key role in our boarding structure and assume two main areas of responsibilities: the health of our boarders and the management of their laundry.  As such, you will work closely with the Housemaster/housemistress and their team with the day to day running of the boarding house and implement boarding policies and procedures.  You will also collaborate on a regular basis with the school nurse and outside agencies such our local General Practitioner. 

The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in the welfare of young people and will be prepared to go the extra mile. You will be able to address challenges with a positive attitude whilst maintaining high professional standards. Good organisational and communication skills are essential to thrive in our international boarding community and to be an effective member of the boarding team.
