School Life

Life at Claremont is busy, with plenty of time for pupils to indulge in the pastimes they love as well as their studies. With a full Co-Curricular programme, busy sporting calendar and many upcoming events, the Prep and Senior School diaries are filled with opportunities for students to challenge themselves, try something new and for parents to delight in their successes. On these pages you will be able to keep abreast of what’s happening and when, but for more of an insight into daily life at Claremont, it’s also worth reading the latest Termly Review and student magazines The Beacon and The Arrow, produced by aspiring journalists and writers from our Senior and Prep School. Both schools have their own Instagram and Facebook pages as well as a generic Twitter feed, all of which are a great source of school news for current and prospective parents alike.

We strongly believe that family time is precious and plays a vital part in a pupil’s upbringing. For this reason, with the exception of Claremont Day, Sports Day at the Prep School, and residential study trips abroad, there are no compulsory weekend commitments for pupils at Claremont. We also aim to make life as easy as possible for working parents.  At the Prep School, children can be dropped off anytime between 8.00am and 8.30am and may stay at school until 6.00pm. A complimentary link bus service is also available to transport pupils between the Prep and Senior School sites at the beginning and end of the school day.
