How Claremont Assists International Students with Visa Support

Navigating the complexities of studying abroad can be daunting, particularly when it comes to securing the necessary visas and documentation. At Claremont, we understand the challenges that international boarding students and their families face during this process. Our dedicated support services are designed to simplify this journey, ensuring that students can focus on their education and personal growth rather than getting caught up in bureaucratic red tape.

Comprehensive Visa Support Services

One of the standout features of Claremont’s international student and boarding programme is our comprehensive visa support services. We believe that quality education should be accessible, and financial barriers should not impede a student’s dream to study in the UK. That’s why families are not required to pay for our visa assistance services; Claremont covers the associated costs. The only financial responsibility that families need to manage is the application fees, which are generally minimal compared to the overall expenses of studying abroad.

The Process of Securing a Certificate of Acceptance to Study (CAS)

Once a student has been offered and confirmed their place at Claremont, the next step in the visa application process is the issuance of the Certificate of Acceptance to Study (CAS). The Admissions Team is committed to acting promptly and efficiently; they will prepare the CAS no later than three months prior to the student’s intended start date. This certificate is a crucial document that confirms the student’s acceptance into our institution and is required for the visa application.

Expert Guidance from Immigration Lawyers

In addition to our internal support, Claremont collaborates with experienced immigration lawyers who specialise in student visas. These professionals are tasked with providing tailored support to families, ensuring that all necessary documentation is accurately completed and submitted. This expert guidance is invaluable, as immigration laws and requirements can vary significantly depending on the student’s home country. Our lawyers stay updated on the ever-changing regulations, which means that students and their families can have peace of mind knowing they are receiving current and reliable advice.

eVisa Application (Formerly BRP)

Claremont School is here to support parents every step of the way as the UK Home Office transitions to a fully digital immigration system. We understand that navigating these changes can feel overwhelming, but there’s no need for parents to worry about the details—we’ll take the lead in this process for you.

We will initiate the setting up of eVisa accounts/biometric residence permits and managing immigration details. You won’t have to search for information or navigate the official UK government website; we are committed to making this transition as smooth and hassle-free as possible. Let us handle the complexities while you focus on what matters most.

A Dedicated Support System for International Students

At Claremont, our commitment to supporting international students goes beyond just academics. We recognise the unique challenges that come with studying in a different country, and we strive to provide a robust support system that alleviates these challenges. From covering the costs of visa assistance to providing expert legal advice and ensuring timely documentation, we are dedicated to making the transition to studying abroad as smooth as possible.

Whether you are a prospective student or a parent looking to understand the process better, we invite you to reach out to our Admissions Team for more information on how we can assist you.
