Pre-Prep have had so much fun raising money for BBC Children in Need. We discovered our inner Mary Berry and rustled up a multitude of mouth watering treats to include rainbow cupcakes, cake pops, pizza and ice cream surprises! On Friday; the main appeal day, we joined thousands of schools across the country in ‘mufti’ dress and took part in the ‘Big Morning Move’ lead by Joe Wicks. The children also listened really carefully to find out why we were ‘raining money’ and to some of the stories explaining how funds were used to help those less fortunate than themselves. After lunch we watched the duck race which, just like the ‘morning move’ was broadcast live across the nation – we loved cheering our favourite duck on! Throughout the week, children across Pre-Prep and Nursery helped recreate Pudsey in coins in our Penny Pudsey challenge. The Nursery children also held a cake sale and had some Pudsey themed yoga sessions. What a busy week, but it has all been worth it having raised an incredible £383 across both Pre-Prep and Nursery. A big achievement for some very little people!
