Senior School Dance Workshops

Friday 13th March

9am-12pm Rambert Dance Company

Rambert is one of the world’s leading independent dance companies and prospective students will have the chance to work with the company for 3 hours in our fabulous new Dance studio. Repertoire workshops consist of a contemporary dance technique warm up, Rambert repertoire and a short choreographic element based on ‘In your Rooms’ – Hofesh Shechter. This workshop is a fantastic opportunity for prospective students to experience Claremont for themselves, whilst learning to dance with Britain’s oldest dance company and our Head of Dance, Beth Eckhoff.

This workshop would suit children over 12 years old, and with some dance experience.

1:30-3:30pm Street Dance with Shaun Angel

Shaun Angel started his training at the Urdang Academy London and went on to becoming a successful performer and choreographer in his own right. After graduating from the academy, Shaun then performed and work alongside a variety of theatre and television projects including shows for MTV, Disney, TOTP, The Box, BBC, ITV, T4 and many others of this calibre.

This workshop would suit children over 11 years old with an interest in learning to dance.

Parents are more than welcome to come and watch work as it progresses … and even join in!
