Admissions Overview

Choosing the right school for your child is one of the most important decisions that you can ever make for them. My Admissions team is here to support you and help you decide whether Claremont will be the right choice for your child.

There is nothing better than visiting a school, absorbing the atmosphere and getting a sense of its day to day rhythms. We hold two Open Days a year in May and October and also have an ‘Open House Week’ in March when you can see the school in action. We are also able to arrange personal tours.

Our Senior Leaders are always keen to meet prospective parents and children and show you their school. If you are considering applying for a place in Claremont, we also encourage you to arrange a Taster Day as it is the perfect way for your child to experience the school for themselves, meet future friends and familiarise themselves with our facilities and beautiful grounds.

Claremont School - Admissions Overview

As an academically diverse school, we do not have formal entrance requirements. Our priority is to ensure that we are the best environment for your child to thrive. Prospective students take a cognitive ability test (CAT) to help us guide course choices. International students are required to take a brief English language assessment.

The Admissions process can differ from school to school and we understand that at times it can appear quite complex. We are here to guide you, making the process as smooth and straightforward as possible. We look forward to meeting you soon.
