Last week saw the annual ISP Maths Challenge. We are very fortunate as it takes place on the Mathletics platform, which we all know very well. All pupils in the school were asked to take part and we were thrilled with those who took on the opportunity to demonstrate their Maths skills.
Charlie Ware in Year 8 was a great role model in demonstrating resilience and determination to score 32,421 points – the highest in the school. This placed him on the UK leaderboard on Saturday. James Rowland in Year 7 also got onto the leaderboard in his quest to achieve 22,295 points.

We would also like to congratulate the following pupils on their performance:
Year 3 Bess Thomas 6188
Year 4 Bruce, 12,590, Rupert 11753
Year 5 Sophia Slater 8022
Year 8 – Toby 5100
Please continue to encourage your child to use Mathletics, as it has many benefits in improving Maths skills, in addition to being an excellent way to accumulate stars.
